how to install an enb fallout 4

[PC] How do you install an ENB?

Hi,

I use a program called Mod Organizer 2 to download my Fallout 4 mods.

I found a mod called:

The Enhancer

It sounds cool, but it won't let me download it using Mod Organizer. So I think I have to download it manually. But it directs me to a page called http://enbdev.com and I have no idea what to download from there.

Is there a way to do this? I am not sure how to download or install the needed file(s).

Has anyone ever installed this before? Would love some tips.

You need to download the binaries from http://enbdev.com/download_mod_fallout4.htm this is what enables the enb files to actually work. Follow the read installation instructions. Your best bet for the binaries and the actual enb is to do it all manually i.e. not with MO2. It's actually very easy just copying and pasting files into the Fallout 4 main directory.

Don't feel bad if it doesn't seem that way. It took me reading forever before I found someone to explain exactly what to do, and even then they were using unexplained abbreviations and acronyms that made no sense. The download link moved from where 90% of the redirects are, and if you do it wrong you break your game. In my case I finally got it installed and it killed outdoor lighting completely(interiors were looking pretty boss, admittedly). Will try again if I ever have a half a day to blow on it.
